Beijing-Xian-Chengdu-Zhangjiajie

Today we first visit Temple of Heaven, where ever the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the Gods of Heaven. Then we go to Silk Market, in which you’ll find nearly all the things you want to buy. Then we transfer to station for Bullet Train to Xian G87 (1400/1825) by 2nd class seats. Upon arrival, our guide and driver in Xi’an will pick you up and drive to the hotel for rest.

Today you will be driven to the suburb area to marvel at the powerful Qin Terra Cotta Warriors. Then we drive back to the city and go to visit Shaanxi Historical Museum, known as “the pearl of Xian, the treasury of China”. After the museum, we’ll visit South Gate Old City Wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then we go to Muslim Quarter. There are about ten mosques in this area, among which the Great Mosque is the most famous and popular.

In the morning we drive to train station for bullet train to Chengdu D1917(0900/1228) by 2nd class seats. Upon arrival our guide and car will pick us up and drive to Leshan and visit the Giant Buddha. With the height 71 meters, Leshan Giant Buddha is the biggest stone statue carved in mountains. We will take the cruise and also climb the Buddha. Then we’ll drive to Emeishan for overnight.

Mt. Emei is located on the south of Leshan. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious, like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. Looking its winding and beautiful figure, you will find that it resembles very much an eyebrow of a girl. It is the highest one among all the famous sight-seeing mountains in China. We’ll take cable car up to Wannian Temple, and then walk to visit Monkey Area. Down from the mountain, we will drive back to Chengdu for overnight.

In early morning, we will visit the Panda Base at feeding time. The giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but are also beloved by people the world over. In the base you’ll meet incredibly lovely pandas and baby pandas. Then we drive back to visit Old City incl Jinli Street and Wenshu Temple Area, where you can have a look at the cozy life of local people. In the evening, we will enjoy the unique Mask-Changing Show.

In the morning we drive to airport for flight to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival our guide and car will pick us up and drive to visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is much favored by explorers and lovers of great outdoor from home and abroad, by featuring typical Zhangjiajie landform, breathtaking cliffs, lush forests, ancient caves, colorful ponds, and a river running through the canyon. The highlight of the canyon is the Glass Bridge, which is an architecture wonder designed by Haim Dotan and made up of transparent glass with a bungee jump platform at the bridge center, where you can have a panoramic view of the majestic Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. 

Today we will drive to visit Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. The Tianzishan and Yuanjiajie area is the core sites of Zhangjiajie, where you can find stones of all shapes and plants of various species. We first take Bailong elevator up to visit Yuanjiajie, then shuttle bus to visit Tianzi Mountain, and down by cable car at last. Before transfer back to hotel, we will take a walking tour along Golden Whip Stream.

In the morning we go to visit Baofeng Lake with boat cruise. After that we drive to visit Tianmen Mountain in the morning. The Tianmen Mountain is named after its large cave on the mountain which looks like a great door to the heaven. You can walk on the glass road along the mountain. Then we drive to the A/P for flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will pick us up and transfer to hotel.

Today we will start our tour by visiting the West Lake with boat cruise. The west lake is famous for its unique and beautiful views in all seasons. Then we visit the Six Harmonious Pagoda aside the lake which can be dated back to Song Dynasty. Then we drive to visit Lingyin Temple, the largest and most famous temple in Hangzhou with a history of 1700 years. After that we will drive to visit the Tea Museum & Plantation to learn some knowledge about the famous Longjing Tea. In the evening we will walk along the Hefang Street at the old city of Hangzhou. On the pedestrian you can find shops of long histories and snacks of traditional Hangzhou style.

In the morning we transfer to train station for bullet train to Tunxi G7317(0951/1140) by 2nd class seats. Upon arrival our guide and car will pick us up and transfer to visit Hongcun Village, which is famous as one of the Historical and Cultural villages in China with its picturesque views and unique Hui Style architectures. Later we drive back to Tunxi and visit Tunxi Old Street in the evening.

Today we drive to visit the famous Yellow Mountain with cable cars. Enjoyed a name that you will not see any other mountains after you visit the yellow mountain, it is famous for four things- pines of strange shapes, grotesque rocks, seas of clouds and springs. The beautiful views attract numerous painters and photographers. Down from the mountain by cable car, we drive to airport for flight to Shanghai.

Today we first visit Yu Garden including nearby Bazzars. In Yuyuan, you can see the sophisticated design and fine layout of pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters. Then we visit Shanghai Museum, which specializes in ancient art works of China, especially bronze ware, chinaware, calligraphies and paintings. After that, we will take a walking tour of Nanjing Road and The Bund to enjoy the modern view of Shanghai. Then we go to take elevator up to the TV Tower and take an overlook of the Shanghai City.

Today we drive to visit the beautiful Water Town of Zhujiajiao including boat cruise. Later we drive back to city area and will stop by Silk Factory. In the evening we will be entertained by the Acrobatic show at the theater. Transfer back to our hotel.

Free time in the morning. Transfer to airport and take departure flight back home.
