Day 1 Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Vietnam.

Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport, obtain your visa and clear Immigration and Customs.

After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside a local tour guide and driver.

Settle in and enjoy the rest of day at leisure.

Enjoy a lovely welcome dinner at a cozy restaurant.

Day 2 Hanoi city tour

Start a new day by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex, an important place of pilgrimage. A traffic-free area of botanical gardens, monuments, memorials and pagodas, it’s usually crowded with groups of all ages, from all over the nation, who has come to pay their respects. Within the complex you can visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (Monday & Friday: Outside visiting as it’s closed for annual maintenance), Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, Ho Chi Minh Museum

 

Closed by, the famous One Pillar Pagoda which is built of wood on a single stone pillar 1.25 m in diameter. It is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of purity, since a lotus blossoms in a muddy pond.

After that, continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam) – The Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.

Have lunch at a local restaurant

In the afternoon, you are transferred to visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Almost no foreign tourists to Hanoi refuse to visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where they can look into a vivid picture of the miniaturized Vietnamese ethnic community’s life.

 

Take a cyclo in Hanoi Old Quarter – 36 streets and guilds to discover the ancient feature of Hanoi and daily life.

 

Stop to visit Ngoc Son Temple which is located at the northern end of Sword Lake (aka Hoan Kiem Lake). From the shore, walking on the Welcoming Morning Sunlight Bridge leads to the island.

Day 3 Hanoi - Ha Long bay - Overnight Cruise Heading

9:30AM: Picked up by our private (no guide) and go via new highway to Ha Long Bay.

 

11:45 – 12.00 approx.

- Arrive Tuan Chau marina, transferred by speedboat to Stellar of the Seas. Welcome aboard to our cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew on our cruise and join briefing and learn safety instruction.

- Set sail as lunch is served

 

12:30 – 17:00

Join us for a typical lunch in the luxury dining room with indoor or outdoor dining area.

Check-in your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind

Continue cruising through Con Vit islet, Thumb islet and Gia Luan harbor where belonged to Cat Ba area.

Discover lagoon natural area belong to Lan Ha Bay. Drop anchor for Kayaking or swimming or just simply sunbathe on our cruise (private, wild and fresh air).

Heading back toward the sleeping area

Gather around the sundeck for watching the sunset, enjoy Sunset party with complimentary cocktails demonstration. It’s ideal time to make acquaintance with new friends, sharing your traveling experience or simply watching the sunset or just relax in the seasonal swimming pool, or enjoy your time in our golf course or do the exercise at fitness area.

Join us for a short class of cooking demonstration. Our chef will guide you how to make famous traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. Here you will understand the culinary culture of the Vietnamese

- BBQ dinner is served with fresh food menu outside of swimming pool area.

- After dinner, reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at panoramic bar with seasonal pool view, at wine and cigars cellar, or take one of our onboard activities: boardgames, movies, and squid fishing… or relaxing with massage services.

Day 4 Ha Long bay - Hanoi - Fly to Hue - Banyan Tree

Join us for a Tai Chi session on the sundeck for early riser. Tai chi helps focus the mind and condition the body, joining Tai Chi session or do the exercise at fitness area to full charge your energy for the new day.

Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters heading to Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang & Toi)

Take your option either exploring the cave by yourself on kayak or comfortably on local boat rowed by the locals.

Disembark from the cruise as our crew say farewell, back to Tuan Chau Marina by our speedboat. Get on our private car and return to Hanoi airport for your onward flight to Hue.

On arrival in Hue, welcome by our local tour guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel.

Check in and stay overnight in Hue.

Day 7 Hue free - Hoi An - Walking in the ancient town

12:00PM: check out then depart for Hoi An (2 hrs) together with our tour guide and driver.

 

Arriving in Hoi An, have lunch and then spend the rest of this afternoon for walking around the town. Visit:

Japanese Covered Bridge dated back to the 18th century and is a beautiful historical piece of Japanese architecture. It is claimed that it was created by the Japanese then living in Hoi An as a way to reach the Chinese quarter across the water. The bridge also features the sculptures of two dogs and two monkeys representing the Chinese years in which many Japanese Emperors were born along with the fact that the building of the bridge began in the year of the dog and was completed in the year of the monkey.

Phuc Kien Assembly Halls was built around 1690 and functions as a traditional assembly hall for the Chinese ethnic group from Fujian, China to socialize, but later was transformed into a temple dedicated to their deity named Thien Hau – the goddess of sea who protects sailors from danger.

Fujian Assembly Hall bears all the fundamental features in structure of a Chinese Assembly Hall.

Tan Ky old house is an almost perfect example of a 18th merchant’s residence in this major commercial port town.

Dropped off at your hotel at around 17:00. Free time at your leisure.

Day 8 Biking to Cam Thanh & Tra Que villages

08h00-8h30: Meet you in the morning at hotel. Begin cycling to Cam Thanh on the trails to the village. Stop to take some beautiful photos. Arrive at the village of fishermen Van lang-Cam Thanh.

08.30-9.30: Embark on a sampan bamboo basket: rowing competition, practice of fishing technique. Take a little rest in the house of fisherman with the welcome green tea, a beautiful walk in the village to see the daily activities of fishermen.

9h30-10h30: Continue to the village Tra Que passing through the rice fields, fishponds…A quick stop at the local market - Ba The where local people exchange their self-consumption in the region.

10h30-11h30: Arrive home gardener (Mr Chinh). After a welcome drink, you are delighted to be a real gardener by wearing the clothes of the peasants with a conical hat on head, a yoke on shoulder and a hoe in hand. You seem to be well - equipped as a soldier in the battlefield under the command of a chief gardener! Manual work in the field with the skill, patience (raking, fertilizing, cultivating and watering soil) gives you different impressions. Back to Mr Chinh’s home.

11h30-12h00: Relax by a foot massage with medicinal herbs that planted in the family garden. It is an effectively traditional therapy method that enforce your health.

12h00-14h00: Small pratice of cooking the dishes: crispy pancake (meat, shrimp, beansprouts…), spring rolls of Hoi An, Tam Huu, grilled fish in banana leaf… Enjoy the dishes you made.

Drop off at your hotel at around 14:00. Free for the rest of today.

Day 9 Hoi An - Ba Na Hills - Hoi An

Transferred to Ba Na Hills, a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountain west of the city of Danang. The station, advertised as "the Dalat of Danang province" by local tourism authorities, was founded in 1919 by French colonists.

 

A trip on cable car will offer you a chance to admire the panorama of Ba Na Hills, spring stream, Danang city and Danang coast from your cabin at the height of 1,487 meters above sea level.

 

During your time on the mountain, enjoy a visit to:

The Le Jardin with the relics of the French, such as the force of the French horse, nearly 100-year-old grapefruit trees and traces of ancient villas. Especially Debay cellar, wine cellar was built by the French in 1923, spent nearly a century, they still retain cellar wild, mysterious, is the work of the French single remaining fairly intact Ba Na.

Linh Ung Pagoda, located on the peak of Ba Na Mountain at the height of 1.400 meters, was officially inaugurated on the 5th of March, 2004. You can also feel your interests with a lot of pretty villas, newly built hotels, and bungalows here. Each one has its own flower garden with many types of aristocratic flower that Frenchmen left during the 50 past years.

Fantasy Park whichmeet the needs of entertainment of all ages, from the fun game for children to the game, thrilling challenges for youth and adults.

 

Keep taking nice walk to Golden Bridge. Winding its way around a 150-meter course lined with flowers, a golden bridge shimmers against the Ba Na Hills, supported by a pair of giant hands. The bridge sits 1,400 meters above sea level, an altitude which creates the illusion of a silk strip hiding in the clouds above Da Nang.

 

Take cable down. Dropped off at your hotel.

Day 10 Hoi An - Da Nang – Departure

You are let free to stroll around till being transferred to the airport by our private car for flight back to home.
